Polez Ice Cream
Polez Ice Cream
This is a video i did during my Film Animation Class Beta Sem 3 2007, it was done by me, Ridz, Hidhir, and Aisdol.
The whole concept was to prove that the ice cream was really cold and nice to eat during a lovely hot day. Our initial plans were to show that the ice cream had powers to cool down a sunny hot day. Later it was rejected saying that it was too freaky. ( i really don't know why would it be freaky)
So it took us the whole sem to plan things out while being pressured by other assignments along with it. The end was kinda crappy, the bear wasn't the one i had in mind, but all in all everything turned out well. I really don't know how it should have tuned out, but due to the time constraint and some other kind of things, we had to do it this way.
If your wondering about the girl, her name is Opie, more details of her, i don't know. Phone number? No; i lost my phone, so i lost her number.
p.s : I know some might have seen an advert almost similar to this, but rest assure, our ideas were original and we didn't have any intention to copy. (Our simple reference was just a very different Walls Cornetto ad and a trailer of some Korean movie)
Have any comments please do write down some words of wisdom~
Offensive ones will be deleted.

Smuggles
This is another project i did for my Digital Visual Effects class.
We shot it at my girlfriend's house in Ampang.
The whole plan was to make a biscuit run for life, but in the end failed at the very end of its escape.
The whole animation was done by me and my team of 5 (Lana, Alya, Daus and Calvin). The rig was done by Lana, basic animations : Lana, Fine tuning : Me and Alya, Rendering and blending : me, Title : Daus, Audio : Calvin, Matchmaking : Alya and Calvin.
The whole thing took us 3 days to complete + shooting, and a whole production term of 14 weeks. It took a long time to complete because we had other assignments to do, so sometimes we put it on hold while we focussed on others.
Still the whole process was quite tiresome, we had to refer to the Newton Fig Advertisement for a reference on how biscuits smuggle's size would walk and jump. The house colour and environment feel didn't go like how i planned it to be. The final title sequence was nice, but the font below was quite awkward.
The most sad part of all is the time constraint, we shot the video for a minute or two and also planned it to be that way. Then we found out that we had to shorten it for 30 seconds. It was pretty much too fast, but i had to make it that way to save the details of the scenes.
Overall i cant be too proud about it nor was i sad, but it can be said as not bad for my own benchie.
Heres a video for your eyes to see.
Comments and critics are welcomed.
Thank you.

June
This is a model i did for my Model Making Class, its based on a sunflower, initial sketches were made, and studies were done on how sunflowers look and feel.
The Final outcome didn't turn out like what i expected, but at least it still has the value i was looking for.
I'm sorry i couldn't show you the sketches because it was submitted along with my assignment.
Heres a sketch that i managed to save.
At least you can feast your eyes on the final product.
I named it June because it makes me feel like June whenever i think of it, pretty lame but still haha.
Anyway the process of doing it did a workload of thinking, and try and errors.
It was done with strings, wood, and perspex and spray paint (blue, red, green, and yellow).
The whole design was based on the spiral yet not spiral view of the sunflower seeds. My model didn't exactly follow the sunflower, but a little bit of design followed it
Credits to paan for helping me paste the perspex plates.
Heres the final outcome :

Welcome all and everyone to my portfolio/project dump.
Over here i would post things and projects i learned and completed throughout my life. I don't think i would like to keep this blog too personal, but let us be frank and communicate professionally.
My works here are mostly projects i come across during my years of study and my future life in the 3D Graphic industry.
Those who wish to share skills and knowledge, please do so. (Those who wish to offer me a job! Please do so. XD)
Thank you.
